Double rooms are standard in the Global LLC, with shared half-bathrooms between every two rooms. Full bathroom options are limited, but available.

A standard double room includes:

• Two closets with shelving
• Two large mirrors
• Two extra-long twin beds
• Two desks with lights
• Two chairs
• One bookshelf
• Corkboard-lined wall sections

All rooms come with heating and AC units, curtains, and carpeting. Students who wish to have a microwave or mini-fridge can bring them from home or rent them from an IU-approved vendor.

Recently renovated Read Hall offers a wide array of options for its residents, which are all accessible without leaving your building:

• Well-lit formal lounges, which provide comfortable areas to study or chat with friends
• Crimson Café
• Hoosier Den
• Two computer labs, including a Community and Leadership Development Center (CLDC) with computer lab, printers, and office supplies to borrow
• Group study stations
• “Movies, Music, & More,” an entertainment checkout which includes a foreign film collection
• Music practice rooms and pianos
• Multiple dining options
• Dance studio

All residence halls have a center desk that’s staffed 24-hours-a-day, laundry, vending machines, student mailboxes, and elevators to every floor.
