The Global LLC Executive Council (EC) is the student leadership body that directs programming for the year by organizing events, approving expenditures, arranging guest speakers, creating an international culture, and voicing the concerns of students. Early in the school year, the roles and responsibilities of EC members are explained and the selection process begins.
Alongside professional staff, the EC is responsible for Global LLC finances. The annual budget is funded by the $100 per semester activity fee that residents pay to live in the Global LLC. These funds help pay for various events and activities, including dinners, trips, and kitchen supplies.
The EC relies on student suggestions and recommendations in order to make the Global LLC a great place to live and learn. Residents are welcome to attend the weekly EC meetings and offer input, as well as talk in person or email EC members or staff to share opinions and ideas.
